This group hailed from Washington, D.C. and comprised James Russell, Jewel Akens, Terry Evans and Tommy Turner. They originally recorded as “The Rainbows”, releasing 1 record on “Gramo” in 1963 before recording as “Terry and the Tyrants” for “Kent”, before recording as “Sam And The Soul Walkers” and “The Turnarounds”. This disc from 1965 is in EXCELLENT condition
