Limitations – All Because Of You – Bacone

Between 1968 and 1972 the Bacone label operated out of a row home in northern Philadelphia. It was run by producer & songwriter Elizabeth Bacone, notable for being one of the few African American female label owners at the time. Only a handful of records were released. The Limitations were a Philly soul vocal quartet comprising two sets of brothers: Joseph Jennings, James Jennings, Larry Billops and Jim Billops. This is a limited edition stock copy blue label pressing. The B side, “My Baby” is alternate version of the original 1968 Bacone 45.
