Born John Henry Kendricks on November 18, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan, Hank was an American rhythm and blues singer and songwriter who wrote and recorded “The Twist” which spread the popularity of the dance and was notably covered by Chubby Checker. He sadly died on March 2, 2003, Los Angeles. This disc has a tiny bit of biro on label and some light wear – Conservatively graded in VG++ condition – Good R & B mover!!
