Eugene Booker McDaniels was born on 12th February 1935 in Kansas City, Kansas. He recorded prolifically as Gene Macdaniels, mainly on “Liberty” records, and from 1970, when he signed up for “Atlantic” records he used his full name Eugene McDaniels. Gene McDaniels sadly died on 29th July 2011 at his house in Maine. This disc from 1963 has superficial wear to the vinyl, a little writing on the label and label damage, conservatively graded in VG+ condition, worth checking the flip
