“Emase” records was established in Chicago by Leon Singleton in late 1965 to record the C.O.D.’s. The label issued, issuing it’s last recording in October 1967 before it folded due to financial trouble and was reorganized incorporating “Kellmac” records, which was also having financial difficulties. Little is known about this group, though they did record a 45 for “TAD” records in 1968, a 45 for “New Miss” records and two for “Emase” records.
