Ellas Mcdaniel was born on December 30th, 1928 in McComb, Mississippi, moving to the south side of Chicago, Illinois when he was 5 years old, learning to play the guitar, playing regularly in the 708 Club, on Chicago’s South Side, then recording for “Chess” records in 1955, continuing through the decades on a variety of labels. Bo Diddley sadly died on June 2nd, 2008, in Archer, Florida. This disc has light wear, whilst retaining gloss, conservatively graded between VG+ to VG++ condition, worth checking the flip
